A 5-day Master Class with Peruvian Altomisayoq
Adolfo Ttito Condori
With translation & assistance by Ana Larramendi
March 15-20, 2016. Dodgeville, WI
Join us for another opportunity to work with Altomisayoq, Adolfo Ttito Condori! We are excited and honored
to bring this incredibly gifted Paqo (Andean shaman) to Wisconsin! This master class will give mesa carriers an
opportunity to study aspects of working with the mesa (called Khuya Misa in Quechua) based on the
traditional practices and understanding of generations of Paqos in the high Andes and the teachings of the
Apukuna. This class is for people who study Andean cosmology and/or already have a mesa or are in the
process of building one and wish to deepen their study of Andean Cosmology with Adolfo.
In the Andean tradition, the masters have always said that the use of the khuyas and misas are the path for our
protection and healing. In addition, the khuya misa opens the path of connection to the natural world and the
Our first evening we will open our class with a ceremony of K’intu Misa Kichariy (a despacho for our Ayllu).
The following day we will focus on review of practices and techniques that all students and teachers of Andean
traditions should know: Haypay, Ch’in Kay, Hallpay, Mañakuy, k’intuy, K’intu Misa (despacho offering). These
foundation practices prepare us for the following days of study.
Focus of Study: This class will explore more deeply, different types of Khuya Misas and how to work with
Types of Misas: In the Andean cosmology there are many different misas that are used for different
purposes. For example, some are for healing (Hampeq misa) others for personal light work (K’anchaq misa) or
for exploration of life (Misa Colectivo). However, beyond this there are specific secrets of how to make special
offerings for each of the different khuya misas. We will focus our study on collective misas and personal misas,
focusing on the medicine aspect of the khuyas which includes the Saywaq misa and Chumpiq misa. By
deepening your understanding of the ceremonies you will begin to recognize the magic and power of the khuya
Exploring your Khuyas: To know your misa, you need to build your relationship with your khuyas.
What are the secrets of the khuyas? How do you manage and construct the energy of the khuyas? How do you
read or listen to the messages of the khuyas? How do you learn the spiritual cosmology through the khuyas?
Learn how your khuyas reveal the gifts and power of your energy body (manqos wasi). We will come to
understand how the misa is a reflection of our essence, knowledge and gifts, revealed through what has
attracted us to our various khuyas. –The khuyas we attract determine the type of misa we have.
In our final day we will celebrate with ceremonies and practices with the Pachamama. We will learn how to
open ourselves to different worlds of light so we can receive the seeds and practices for our Manqos wasi and
our Khuya Misa. Class ends Sunday at noon followed by lunch.

About the Teacher:
Adolfo Ttito Condori was born in Poma Canchi, Peru, a small
agrarian village surrounded by mountains and lagoons at 12,000
ft. He is the oldest of 6 children born to parents from a lineage of
Inkas and medicine people. His journey in the Andean medicine
ways began as a child under the guidance of his grandfather and
parents who worked with plant medicines as pampamisayoqs.
Adolfo experienced many of the classic initiations for becoming a
medicine person. He has been struck by lightning twice (as a child
and an adult). During adolescence he momentarily died from
disease but was resuscitated by the Apus (mountain spirits). At age
16 Adolfo lost his father, and in addition to taking over helping his
mother raise his siblings, the spirits of the mountains began their
teachings of Adolfo directly. After years of personal tests and
training the Apus gave him the power of an Altomisayoq. With the
guidance of their knowledge and practices Adolfo’s gifts come from
a pure communion with the Apus for over 20 years. He has now
begun to teach the cosmology he learned from the Apus and
Pachamamas of sacred places in the land.
